"'Hueco' es un proyecto que desarrollé después de la muerte de mis padres. Tomé imágenes de su boda civil y mandé borrar a todos los personajes que hasta ahora han fallecido; una suerte de actualización de las imágenes, como si éstas fueran incapaces de recordar a partir de la ausencia. El trabajo fue realizado con la ayuda de los manipuladores de imágenes que normalmente se dedican a crear imágenes para XV años o bodas, una vez más apuntando al oficio aprendido para descontextualizarlo y generar una otredad". "'Hueco' is a project I developed after my parent's death. I took images from their wedding and asked for all the people that until now have passed away to be deleted; a kind of updating of the images, as if they were unable to remember from the absence. This work was made with the help of image manipulators that normally work in creating images for XV años or weddings, once again pointing to this learned crafts and decontextualizing it and generating otherness".
